Mr. Martinez is a lifelong Chicago resident, growing up on the city’s southside. He attended the Illinois Institute of Technology where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Humanities and a Masters of Science Education. He has over sixteen years of experience in CPS, working as a teacher, Athletics Director and coach, as well as an instructional coach. This will be his second year at John Hancock College Prep, teaching both Honors Biology and Honors Physics. Outside of the classroom he runs the Dungeons and Dragons Club and assists with weight training for the Track and Field team.
