CTE -- College and Career Selective Academies
Hancock College Prep is proud to announce the following selective Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs:
- Pre -Engineering Honors Program
- Pre-Law Honors Program
Each program consists of an academically rigorous, four-year, honors level course of study. Students will be enrolled in one Pre-Engineering or Pre-Law course per year as part of Hancock’s curriculum.
In addition to in-class study, students will be exposed to real world opportunities such as internships and job shadowing.
Selection Criteria
The selection criteria for the 2022-2023 school year has changed. For a full explanation of the changes, please visit the GoCPS website here.
Students will be assigned points for 7th grade final GPA and their 8th grade high school admissions test score; student selections are based on points.
Students living in current high school boundaries of Bogan, Curie, Gage Park, Hubbard, Kennedy, and Solorio receive preference.
