Our Mission:
Hancock School Counselors are committed to delivering a dynamic, culturally responsive, evidence-based, and equitable program focused on all students' academic, social/emotional, and college/career development that empowers them to optimize their potential for high school and postsecondary success responsibly.
Who is the JHCP Counseling Department?
We are a student service department comprised of four professionally licensed master's degree-holding school counselors. Our domains of service include academic, social/emotional, and career development, in addition to a full-time college coach. School counselors meet with students in grades 9-12 on an individual, classroom, workshop, and small group basis on various topics within these domains addressing student needs. Our top priority is holistic student achievement in high school and helping our soaring Eagle students prepare for their future goals and endeavors.
