High School Internship (Chicago) - Summer 2019

 
Urban Alliance (CPS Internship 2019):
Deadline May 1, 2019 (Open to Undocumented Students)
  • Paid interns work part-time during the school year – Monday-Thursday for up to 12 hours per week – and full-time during the summer – Monday-Thursday for up to 32 hours per week.
 
  • Urban Alliance’s core program matches underserved high school seniors with paid, professional internships, job skills training, one-on-one mentoring, and ongoing post-program support to expand their idea of what is possible for their future.
 
ACAP & Greenwood Project: 
Eligibility:  Current High School Juniors & Seniors
  • ACAP is an innovative career development program designed specifically for minority students who are juniors and seniors in high school that are interested in accounting, finance, or business careers
  • ACAP is centered around a week-long summer campus residency program that takes place at a local college or university - Northern Illinois University (Dekalb Campus)
  • Students selected for ACAP will receive FREE room and board, books, materials, and attend tours during the program
    1st Application Deadline: February 28th, 2019, 2nd Application Deadline: April 15th, 2019

  • Genesys Works is a non-profit organization dedicated to changing the lives of teens, just like you. If accepted into the program, you will have the opportunity to participate in:

     

    • An 8 week, summer training program to learn the skills that you will need to succeed in the corporate world.
    • A paid internship at a top company throughout your senior year.
    • One-on-one coaching and guidance with college applications, scholarships, and financial aid
