Environmental Science Nature Museum field trip, AP Environmental Science students studied the biodiversity of different ecosystems by comparing a lawn and a prairie. They used several methods to measure and record the variety of plants and animals in each area.
Through this hands-on experience, students explored how human activities like urban development and farming affect biodiversity in Illinois, gaining a better understanding of the impact people have on the natural world.
