Two Hancock Poets are going to the semifinals and finals for Rooted and Radical. Fran Gray-Maloney (sophomore) was selected as an All-Star Poet and advanced to the semifinals, which will take place at the Den Theater on Saturday, March 8th from 1-3:30. Two poets, Fran and Jazlyn Rodriguez (a freshman) won awards for their poems at Rooted and Radical and will perform those poems on stage at finals on Sunday, 3/16 from 6-9 at the Ramova Theater. Fran won the Spirit of the Slam Award and Jazlyn won the Speak! Award. Please congratulate them when you see them. The poetry team is proud of them!
