Ms. Simons earned her B.A. from the University of Northern Iowa in 2007. After spending a year working as a social worker in the Bronx, she returned to Iowa to complete her J.D. at Drake University Law School. She spent four years practicing civil litigation, criminal defense, immigration, and family law at a small general practice firm in McKinley Park. She then spent several years in legal recruiting, gaining career counseling skills and expertise in the Chicago area legal market. She is thrilled to bring her legal background in the practice of law and recruiting to the students of Hancock High School as a CTE pre-law teacher.
