Student Council

John Hancock College Prep serves as a megaphone for student voice and governance in our school community. All at-large members are welcome to join by attending our weekly Wednesday meetings after school in room 411. Additionally, elections are held at the end of September whereby each grade-level elects two officers for a one-year term. Each year in June the Student Council elects its officers for the next academic year. The JHCP Student Council serves as the school's Student Voice Committee and is a member of the Chicago District Association of Student Councils and the Illinois Association of Student Councils. Each year the JHCP Student Council organizes and participates in fundraising, service learning and leadership development.
