Spring 2025 - South Korea!

In 2025, Hancock will take its first ever trip to South Korea!

We will experience first-hand Korean culture, both modern and traditional. First we fly to the capital, Seoul, where we will visit the Gyeongbok Palace and National Folk Museum, but also the hip and modern Insadong Cultural Street and Namdaemun open-air market. We will also tour the Korean Demilitarized Zone, take a cooking lesson, and visit the famous terraced tea fields before reaching Gyeongju and Busan, our other major city destinations. There we will visit multiple UNESCO World Heritage sites, the colorful Gamcheon Cultural Village, and take a sunmudo martial arts lesson, before returning to Seoul for more immersion in Korean culture.

STEP 1: Attend one of the informational meetings during ACLAB in Room 315 (e.g. Monday, November 13, 2023).

STEP 2: Discuss with your family and submit the forms you received at the informational meeting.

STEP 3: Attend our evening parent meeting (invites will be sent in late November 2023 - student AND one parent/guardian must attend) to learn more, make a decision, and register for the trip.

 

Application Process for FUTURE Students:

If space is still available, we will hold an informational meeting in September 2024 for any interested freshmen students and parents to learn more and register. Please check back in August/September 2024 for exact date and time.
