Ms. Donalek's Bio
Born and raised in Chicago, Ms. Donalek's love of learning has taken her around the world and back home to the best city on Earth! Her higher education began at the University of Michigan's Economics department, continuing on to the London School of Economics, where she studied Economics and Economic History. Upon returning to Ann Arbor, she added a double major of Film/Video Studies, as well. Following undergrad, she returned to Chicago, working on several film sets. Ms. Donalek then moved to Japan, as part of the JET program, and taught English as a second language in a Japanese high school in Toki-ski, Gifu-ken for two years. But her love of Chicago and quality hot dogs drew her home. After working at the Women's Center at Northwestern University, further studying filmmaking, and getting her Masters in Education from DePaul University, Ms. Donalek joined CPS as a teacher of mathematics.
