| Before his 14-year career with the Chicago Public Schools, Mr. Toro attended the University of Illinois at Chicago, Florida International University, and Northeastern Illinois University earning a degree in Physical Education, Health Education, and Social Science. While in school, Mr. Toro was an NCAA DIV I athletic scholarship recipient and has since coached many sports including baseball, softball, and swimming. At Hancock College Prep, Mr. Toro plays an integral role on the JHCP Instructional Leadership Team and maintains the position as the Physical/Health Education Department Chairperson. During his spare time, Mr. Toro enjoys teaching driver education to students across the Chicago-land area and traveling with friends and family. |
