Mr. McCartney has worked at Hancock since the fall of 2008.  He currently teaches Advanced Placement Psychology and serves as the Science Department Chair.

 

Mr. McCartney went to UIC earning degrees in both biology and psychology; National Louis University earning a masters in secondary teaching; and the University of Florida earning a masters in forensic science.  Mr. McCartney is currently a PhD candidate in Curriculum and Instruction (Math and Science Education) at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
