This is Mr. Keys's 11th year as a John Hancock College Preparatory High School teacher. This year, he is teaching Senior College Algebra and Exploring Computer Science. In the past, he has also taught Computer Information Technology, Algebra 1, Mathematical Problem Solving, Geometry and Algebra 2/Trigonometry. Mr. Keys earned his bachelor's in mathematics from Beloit College with a minor in creative writing. He went on to earn a master's in film production from Boston University, a master's in linguistics from Northeastern Illinois University and a master's in teaching from the University of St. Thomas. In addition to his work at Hancock, he teaches an ESL (English as a Second Language) class to a diverse group of immigrants at one of the Chicago City Colleges, Truman.
