Mr. Keys
This is Mr. Keys's 19th year as a John Hancock College Preparatory High School teacher. This year, he is teaching Honors Math (Envision) 2. In the past, he has also taught Computer Information Technology, Exploring Computer Science, Computer Science A (Intro to Java Programming), Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Mathematical Problem Solving, Math (IMP) 2, Math (IMP) 3 and College Algebra. He earned his bachelor of arts in mathematics from Beloit College with a minor in creative writing. He then went on to earn a master of fine arts in film production from Boston University, a master of arts in linguistics from Northeastern Illinois University, a diploma in TEFLA from Cambridge University and a master of arts in teaching from the University of St. Thomas. In addition to his work at Hancock, he has also taught ESL (English as a Second Language) to diverse groups of immigrants in Chicago, Boston and Minneapolis as well as all age groups in Japan, Saudi Arabia and Greece.
