Reflection Assignment-
As we look forward to a new year with new possibilities, it's good to reflect on 1. what went well during the previous year, 2. what we need to continue working on, 3. goals for the new year, and 4.things that we are going to leave behind.
Musicians reflect and make goals too!
On ONE Google slide, create a colorful and informative end of year reflection (from the viewpoint as a musician) using words and images. BE CREATIVE!
Include:
*Your name
*Block
*What went well during 2022
*What you need to continue working on
*Goals for the new year
*Things that you are going to leave behind
This will be due at the end of YOUR class on 12/20 and 12/21
I'm looking forward to seeing your beautiful creations!
-Mrs. Farr
***Also, make sure you have previous Google classroom assignments completed as we will present them during the first two weeks we return in January!

Bring your chrome book to class on Thursday! You will be working on the Music Isn't My Only Forte Project!
Due:
Read the project guidelines and follow them exactly! Today you will complete 4-5 slides for full credit!
Due:
You may use the backing track below to practice-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z3euxRLOQec
Use 75% playback speed (your tempo will be about 64 BPM)
Ideas to Ponder...
Remember that your solo should be almost lyrical in nature
Use rests thoughtfully
Include repetition if you choose
You MUST NOT write down your whole solo! You are supposed to "feel" the music. Ideas are great, but DO NOT write out your whole solo- that will make it NOT IMPROVISATION!!!
