First, I need you to read it.  Secondly, I need you to create some amazing notes from just that section using the template I provided.  I also attached a rubric for you bc guess what?  We are peer grading these next class. You have the entire block to work on them so they best be A+++ work.  You do not have to read the section on Japan. I just attached it for those who are curious and finish ahead of time.

The desks are arranged differently.  Please leave them the way they are now.  I have new seats for you on Thursday.

Read the Britannica article on the FIFA corruption scandal.  A hard copy of the reading will be provided.  As you are reading, annotate the hard copy for evidence of conflict and cooperation.

Once you are finished, begin the SIT assignment.  There are 2 clips that you need to view.  Watch them.  Once done, complete the protocol-  things that were surprising, interesting, and troubling.

First off, take some time to make your final updates to your paragraph.  Submit it when you think it's groovy.  It's our second standards grade.
Now, the Aztecs... 
On your own, watch the documentary about these cool people.  I created a video guide for you complete that goes along with what you are watching.  Most of the responses are a word or phrase.  Turn in that document once you complete it.  Before the end of class.  You have time.  Don't screw around.
Next, the chart.  We have already done the Mayans.  Now, the Aztecs. Complete the Aztec column.  Feel free to Google.  Once you complete the column, copy/paste the Mayan info from before.  Now, the chart should be 2/3 complete.  That's it.
