It’s as if all of my emotions and feelings from the time I was little have been brought to life through music and visuals.” I’d like to point out that the girl walking in frame and kissing me at the end is my girlfriend, Jessenia. She is a survivor of domestic violence, when she heard my song for the first time she repeated my lyrics back to me “love has broken me too, but now everything is new” You see, this song and this music video is not about being transgender, it’s about the struggles we ALL face. And I hope that’s what everyone can take away from this, love has broken all of us...but we can create a new.
