I have been proud to teach at John Hancock College Prep since 2002. I earned my master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Saint Xavier University and have taught a range of science courses throughout my career, including Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Chemistry, and Physics.

As a science teacher, I believe students learn best when they are curious, engaged, and actively involved in the learning process. I strive to create a welcoming classroom where students feel comfortable asking questions, challenging themselves, collaborating with others, and learning from their mistakes. Through hands-on activities and real-world connections, I work to make science meaningful, relevant, and memorable. Above all, I want my students to leave my classroom with confidence in themselves, an appreciation for science, and the curiosity to keep asking, "Why?"
