Transfer Students
Thank you for your interest in transferring to Hancock!
The application window for the 2023-2024 school year is now closed.
The application for the 2024-2025 will open in June 2024.
Please note: Hancock does not accept freshmen transfer students.
Minimum Requirements to Apply:
- 3.2 unweighted GPA.
- Must have minimum of 50 percentile in reading & math on most recent national standardized test scores (PSAT)
- No suspensions or major disciplinary infractions
- No Fs or Ds on final grades
- Outstanding Attendance
- Must live in Chicago (Must provide proof upon acceptance)
Applicants must submit all required documentation to be considered.

Documents that need to be submitted for application:
- Official transcripts showing all previous course work and final grades, GPA, and class rank
- Copy of most recent high school national standardized test scores (EXPLORE, PLAN, ACT, SAT, PSAT, etc.)
- Letter of good standing from an administrator (Principal, Assistant Principal or Dean) *this is a document that is generated from the Illinois State Board of Education*
- IEP or 504 plans (if applicable)
