Abraham is a Paraprofessional at Hancock High School. This school year (2017-2018) marks his 4th year with Hancock and his 7th year at CPS. Before coming to Hancock, he worked at Little Village High School and Castellanos Middle School as a Attendance Coordinator, Paraprofessional, and Tech Coordinator. He also has worked with students as a Classroom Volunteer, Program Mentor, and After School Program Volunteer since 1990. Abraham is a member of the Diverse Learners department at Hancock and he provides instructional support for classroom teachers. He supports and assist students with learning class material using the teacher's lesson plans, providing students with individualized attention, and helping students with academic assistance. Abraham also support the Dean and the security team supervising students during the school day. He works as a mentor with students that need help academically and with attendance. Abraham always looks forward to assist teachers, staff, and administrators in providing a safe, supportive, and positive school environment in which students will demonstrate growth in their academics, are motivated to be the best students they can be, and demonstrate outstanding citizenship, character, and leadership.
