Ms. Neidt grew up in the small town of Geneseo, IL but has been proud to call Chicago home since 2001. She attended The University of Illinois at Chicago where she received a B.S. in Biology. After working as a researcher at The University of Chicago for several years, she decided to change careers and pursue teaching. She earned her M.S. in Education from Northwestern University in 2013 and has been a proud member of the John Hancock College Prep community since 2010. Ms. Neidt has taught freshmen level Environmental Science, Honors Physics, and a senior-level research course focused on climate change. She currently teaches AP Environmental Science and is also Hancock's Curriculum Coordinator. Additionally, she co-sponsors the Environmental Club and partners with the Chicago Conservation Corps and the Forest Preserves of Cook County to provide additional educational and service learning opportunities for her students.
