I am excited to have joined the John Hancock College Prep High School community as a Professional School Counselor.
Previous to JHCP I worked in Chicago Public Schools as a Becoming A Man (BAM) program Counselor and Dean of Students. My work has allowed me to experience five different educational settings within CPS. As the newest member of the counseling department, my goal is to respond to the student and school needs by providing prevention, intervention and treatment counseling services. As department chair for the Counseling department, my goal is to provide leadership for implementation of the counseling program.
I acquired my Bachelor's at University of Illinois at Chicago and earned my Master's degree in School Counseling from Concordia University Chicago.
During my free time I love to travel and make plans to travel. I invite you to talk to me about my traveling experiences.
