About me

Mr. Gutierrez is a native of Chicago, having been born and raised in La Villita neighborhood. He received a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a certificate in Chicano/a Latino/a studies from the University of Madison - Wisconsin. Joined the Hancock family in 2019 as the Youth Intervention Specialist and is transitioning to the classroom as a Pre-Engineering teacher. Prior to that he was a resource coordinator at Irene C. Hernandez Middle School.
