"El Club de Español se concentra en la cultura de los países de habla hispana en un ambiente amigable libre de preocupaciones. Relájate y ven al Club de Español en el salón 400. Nos reunimos una vez al mes, el primer día B del mes" The Spanish Club concentrates in learning the culture of the Spanish Speaking countries in a friendly and stress-free environment. Relax and come to the Spanish Club in room 400. We meet once a month on the first B day of the month.

The Spanish Club is an organization that enriches knowledge of the Latino Culture at Hancock College Prep.  This club is not only for Hispanic/Latino students or students taking a Spanish class, but for anyone who would like to enhance their cultural awareness.  Another great aspect of this club is that you get a chance to meet new people, make amigos y amigas...and learn and practice Spanish too!  The only requirement to join is to come to the meetings on a monthly basis and become involved in our club activities. We meet on the first B day of the month after school in Room 400 with Mrs. Zaragoza. We have 3 meetings a month during the months of September, October and April because we help making decorations for Day of the Dead (Nov 1st/2nd) and Cinco de mayo (May 5th) celebrations.

¿Interested in joining the Club de español?

You do not need to be studying Spanish to be a member of the Club de español, but we can assure you that you will be involved in linguistic and cultural activities that will help you experience the Spanish language and culture. Join us!!!
