VISION

The vision of John Hancock High School is to be a student-focused learning community where stakeholders collaborate to prepare all students for college and post-secondary endeavours.


MISSION

John Hancock High School is committed to preparing all students to be critical thinkers and lifelong learners .


PRIORITY GOALS
  • READING: To provide reading instruction across the curriculum at all grade levels.

  • MATHEMATICS: To improve mathematic skills at all grade levels across the curricula.

  • PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Develop the teachers' skills that will allow them to include reading instruction and technology across the curriculum; and, to develop the teachers' skills in addressing the needs of their students in academic, personal, and professional environments.
